Women Talking™ Wednesday, with Dr. Michelle Zeller, MD (FRCPC, MHPE, DRCPSC)
Join us for Women Talking Wednesday, a virtual event featuring a women’s health physician and clinical expert as our invited speaker. These events empower our members to participate in meaningful discussion led by a clinician, and get answers to their questions about their hormonal health experiences.
Iron is a critical mineral our bodies need to ensure good health and vitality. However many women can encounter low iron (low ferritin) levels at several stage of their life due to natural hormone fluctuations such as pregnancy, heavy menstrual flow, and perimenopause transition, or they can become chronically iron-deficient because of a health condition such as endometriosis, hemophilia and others. Learn from Dr. Zeller who explains why iron deficiency can present in women, how is it diagnosed, what are the treatment options, and how the treatments can improve women’s general health and vitality.
