Event Details
As women, our bodies go through a lot of physiological changes!!
Between the annoying and sometimes painful monthly menstrual cycles, as well as inflammatory pelvic pain caused by endometriosis flare up or PCOS (PMOS) heavy flows, to the macro physical changes of pregnancy and post-partum phases, as well as the perimenopause transition - a very disruptive time of physical and psychological changes - women have to go through physical transformation without much relief!
Women's health experts have often recommended Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy as a key strategy to managing chronic pelvic pain, reduce painful intercourse (dyspareunia), restore elasticity and muscle tone of the pelvic floor hammock, and reduce urinary incontinence caused by GSM (genito-urinary symptom of menopause).
There's so much to learn about Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy!
Your mother probably didn't know much about this topic, and yet even today, we still haven't got it all down pat...but at least we're talking about it! This event is a MEMBERS-ONLY COMMUNITY CIRCLE CHAT that will discuss Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy in a private and safe space as a virtual small group chat. We invited Karen San Andres, a licensed pelvic floor physiotherapist and Clinical Director of ellephysio in Ontario to help us learn and understand about modern PF techniques and exercises that actually work (!), which apparently involve much more than simple kegel exercises or sitting with a capuccino on those expensive muscle-stimulating pelvic floor chairs!
Join us by submitting your RSVP -- this is a free and private virtual event for Healthyher.Life Community Members only!
